I know this has been asked a million times, but i just want to settle the score. Do ALL W800 have horrible loudspeaker that refuse to go any louder? Or are there just a bunch of them? Also, has anyone asked about this from SE?
Does this problem exist with K750 aswell?

is this something that could be fixed with the far plugin? - i'm not a w800i/k750i owner so i have no idea, but i'm sure a hacker (well....it's what

would call you anyway

) would probably be able to work out whether it's a firmware/software thing, or whether it is actually a hardware problem.

I don't know if it's because I'm not expecting too much, but the speaker is fine for my use. I can have it sitting on my desks and easily hear the music, although I must admit it sounds a bit "tinny".
I did once try playing the music directed into an empty bowl. The effect was quite good, music appeared louder and more focused. I guess the soundwaves bounce of the sides of the bowl in a favourable way, as shown by my masterful illustration

After testing, I believe it's the phone casing......
.....K750 has larger(looks almost 50%), slatted 'port'...
.....and W810 has 3 holes, approx. same 'thickness' of 'port'.....
....take the rear casing panel off, sound is more open than K750, you can hear it close up as you replace the panel!:
