just wondering, is there any programs or applications where you can 'cut' a sound file and get a little clip of it?

thanks

yeah, there are plenty of programs to do this. any audio editor could do it. In my case I'm using Sony Soundforge and is great. you can get a demo if you want here: http://www.sonymediasoftware.com/Products/ShowProduct.asp?PID=961

I use Audacity too. You can also use iTunes. It's a little easier in iTunes. Just open options listen the song and look for where your part is and what second or minutes and can convert that part only. This message was posted from a Nokia

that's right guys, I should've listed the free options first. I've used Audacity too, but I personally find soundforge easier to use. in any case, if you only need it to get some sound clips for your phone, free options are the best. I also use SF for more serious stuff.
