1. try using simpler theme (preferrably the default ones)
2. try a master reset.

I totally agree with - QVGA here . . . I've experienced the very same problem with my K700i then, specially if the battery is about to go drain . . . I still had the 'stock' firmware then, never upgraded it.

How would you know if a firmware upgrade would have solved your problem if you didn't upgrade your firmware?

@black - Well, in my case . . . I just let it as it is dude, I always have this thinking that . . . 'worst' might just happen to the fone, had an upgrade has been performed, besides, the problem is tolerable (for me) . . . also, the K700i did not last long in my hands, just had it for about2 months and was sold . . .

I'm just wondering what made you think that the firmware upgrade would have solved the problem... I'm sorry but I just don't understand.
In my case I have also experienced the same problem and It was somehow solved when I did a Master reset. When I changed my theme to a custom made one the problem came back so I switched back to a simpler theme (less animation) and the problem was gone... thus my suggestions.

@black - So, if it can't be resolved by a firware upgrade what will

By choosing a simplier theme ? I just surmise back there that an upgrade will fix it as what many of us here are 'doing' in cases like this . . .

@black hard to say whts the problem. it could be fw or hw, the best way is to let it check by se

or in a mobile shop by experts. good luck

@boba - Blackspot made perhaps a long-term solution to the problem . .. as he said, the screening of the screen still persists (to some) even if firmware upgrade was done . . . choosing a simplier theme will remedy the problem though . . . but not for long I guess . . .
