in the walkman phones, when i pause or stop the music, and exit the music player and then re-open it again, it plays back the music from where i last left it...
is this the same in the k800i as it has the same walkman player as the w800?

It'll continue from where you left it. It'll even play in the background fairly easily without slowing the phone down too much.
