> Unlock question?
Bookmark topic
If you request an unlock code from your operator, put the code in and it doesn't work, they'll refund the unlock fee. So if you request the code, put it in and it works but you tell them it didn't to get the fee refunded, would they be able to know if it did unlock or not?

Be worth looking into, kinda get the feeling the code was never requested in the first place, and I don't want to pay twice. Will see how it goes!

The seller I bought the phone of did allegedly, though I have had the phone since June 9th, and still nothing. I queried orange lastnight who said it should only take 7 to 10 days, so all I can think to do is get it myself now, they said they can send me the code but it will cost me £20, which I'd already paid when I bought the phone as part of the deal.

oh, now i remember that story... well, the one who sold it for u have the responsibility, so ask him to blame orange. if orenage told him, that the code is on its way, its MUST be sorted. but today is the 4th of july, i was waitnig 28 days for the code from t-mobile.

Not holding my breath though, everyone else who has requested a code from orange for an n80 got it quicker.

Well I explained the situation to orange, and it didn't seem a problem. If it has been requested and they wont send it twice, then at least I will know it was requested, if they do send it then I would say that it is pretty conclusive that it wasn't requested. Getting hold of the seller isn't terribly straight forward now if you get me.
