I've been offered a brand new one - tried searching through the forum for any info regarding it's performance and bugs etc but the search doesnt work (

After scrolling through half the threads in the forum I noticed that there might be a need to upgrade the firmware in the headset, so I called SE UK and they said that this isnt possible, can anyone confirm this? How do you check the revision on the headset?

I have a converted t68m running R2E006 firmware, thanks for your help and advice in advance )

I've had one for a year and it still works fine. I paid about £130 for it. Is the person you're buying it from trustworthy - ie do you know them? If not, you could end up with one that doesn't work or with a dead battery or something.

If the guy is to be trusted then 40 quid is a nice price. This post was posted from a T39

I personnally wouldn't buy the HBH-10 even for 40 pounds. For about the same price you can get the HBH-15 which has a much better sound quality, you can't even compare. I used to own the HBH-10 and it was impossible to use it outside or somewhere noisy.
HBH-15 works great everywhere.

I'm using a HBH-10, and I like it very much. I haven't tried the newer ones, but this works just fine for me, both in terms of sound volume and in battery life (as these two being the usual complaints against this version). I recharge it once a week on average and it's perfectly loud in car or even on a bicycle.

I paid about 120 euro-s for it, and sold the bluetooth phone-addon MBM-10 (if I remember correctly) that came with it, for 20 euros, because with the t68i I don't need it.

I have only one problem, in the p800 whitpaper they list hbh-15 and hbh-20 as supported accessories, but hbh-10 doesn't appear there. So I guess I will need to buy a new bt headset anyway with the p800 (when it comes). It might just be a bluespoon, if it will be available in hungary at that time.

So if you're not planning to upgrade to p800 in the future I think 40 pounds is a good price.

Are you sure you can get the HBH-15 for £40? I doubt it. The P800 is compatible with the HBH-10 it's just not listed on the P800 site as the HBH-10 is discontinued. And that's from the horse's mouth...neigh neigh.
