I just bought a P910i, and I also purchased with it a Sony 2GB memory card. I was told however that I would need a memory card reader to transfer files to the memory card (particularly large files (larger than 10MB)). (I thought that all I needed to do was to sync the phone with my pc and save files that way) Is this true, and if so, what memory card reader do you recommend?

Technically, you don't need a separate card reader to transfer files. But trust me, uploading large files like MP3s via the sync cradle will have you pulling your hair out -- it's so slow!!
I use the mobymemory device that hongkongphoey has already linked to, and can highly recommend it. It's USB2, so is dead quick.
