First off, sorry if this has already been mentioned (I think it has but couldn't find the thread....)
Is there a decent video converter for the k800i? I've got mpegable and could use that to encode videos (a lot of playing around with settings thought to get it right!), but I seem to remember reading here that there was a converter from SE, did I imagine that? If not, could someone point me in the right direction?
Again, if this thread or similar already exists then sorry, could someone show me the thread?
Thanks
Paul

I used QuickTime Pro. Works really easily.

Use any video convertor,
As we found in k800/k790 discusion thread,
use 400k for video and 128 for audio for mp4.It works well i think.

Ok great thanks, had a go with Mpegable, and it works fine. I'm impressed with the quality you can get on playback, vast improvement from the K750i

I tried to convert a music video to MP4 512kb/s (video 384kb/s, audio 128kb/s) using QT pro, but I think it hacks a little and gets out of sync. MP4 384kb/s (video 256kb/s, audio 128kb/s) on the other hand plays fluently but then the picture is too blocky. Where's the limit? Maybe I should try something like MP4 416kb/s (video 320kb/s, audio 96kb/s)... Has anyone found the perfect settings?

What settings did you use? Is it the same as with the k750, where you apply the settings for SE P800/P900 and then change the video bitrate to 400, audio to 128...and just leave everything else?
What about cropping the video? Whats settings do you use here? is it cif (352 x 288)?
Thanks.
