Hi, What's the cheapest anybody's found for a Infra-red device for a PC? I seen them for about £30, but i know there must be some cheaper?

Don't think you can use your Psion 5 as an IR adapter to direct to the PC, although I did find software to sync with my old Nokia 8210 (Urgh!). Hope this helps...

I just bought my serial-IR adapter form
www.expansys.com for £25 (ex VAT). Works great.
