Errr its pretty simple to see its a P990 housing, these guys sold the OG Nokia 8800 Black housing, so I tend to trust them.
Why would you want one well simple if you scratch your baby in a few days of buying it...

ahh right - hmm...yeh but the likeliness of the changing VERY slightly of the measurements to the casing is quite likely for the final product.
and the other thing you said...yeh i would want to have a prestium condition p990 if i had one...its just the fact that that housing is rather expensive tbh - and therefore it may cost about the same to get an se service centre to do it (then you'd still have the warranty)...which would be my way to go about it. - just because i know that phones do go wrong
