> What do you guys think, e70 or p990/m600i

Right I have money to spend on a phone, lets say this is £500. I am looking at 3 main phones, the new nokia e70 has just come out in the uk, I own and presently use a nokia 6822, which is the model below, and like it although it pisses me off that its so low tech. I love the se phone, and am agreat fan of the pseires, in fact untill recently they have been my no1 phone.
Normally I wouldnt even look at the nokia, but the p990 is getting stupid, ts been over 9 months since we saw pics I believe and its still not out, hardly no one has the protos, even when its out its pssible its way over hyped (after all theres been a huge wait)
The nokia has almost the smae specs as a p990, although it has a touch scren which is cool, but its also bigger and I will need to make sure I dont break the screen. On the other hand it may run that piss poor software most nokias run on, not the good old stuff, and again no nice touch screen to use the webbrowsing, and not quite as big.
The m600i is very nice, but no wi-fi or no camera which are 2 downsides, and it also means I have to buy yet another kind of memory stick, that m2 thing, which to mee seems pointless still.
Anyway, can someone give their views? I would love the p990, but Im loosing faith and don't know if I can be bothered to wait any more.

get a P990i mate. its far more advanced, like you said the touchscreen is kick ass. and you won't break it.
remember that SE is 1 of only 2 companies in the world that can make a screen last much longer, they have created a sort of scratchproof layer that last a very long time, almost unscratchable (almost).
the other company is TDK that can make disc last for a life time, incase someone wanted to know the 2nd company.
go for the P990i mate, but keep in mind, once you had a touchscreen symbian phone, you'll never want anything else, you'll only want the best of the best

N70 isn't a bad phone, but its just another one of those nokia's. nokia lauches the same phone over and over (with succes). its good to have many choices, but to many isn't good. biggest problem is that owners feel out of date a few months after buying it.
with a Pxxx you don't get that feeling, not untill the next one is introduced.
i know the waiting has been long, but it will be worth it.
SE is still working hard to get alot of software out (3th party, and their own), and i'm sure you'll appriciate that.
remember a few months ago, SE improved the phone, by letting it scan bussiness cards. (a starting idea that was giving to them by some one i know very well, and i can tell you more special things are to come).

The e70 is basically the improved model of my 6822, Its actually a really crap phone (the 6822) but I dont't get on with many, already sold my k800i, serene, kjam etc, im only keepig it because of its simplicity and nice querty.
I really dont think the se screns are all that strong/scratch resistant. I myself have had over 10 p910is. not because I break them, but I just change them every month or so, but the screens did get scratched, I bought a brando sheild for it which did the job, although if I were to buy one now id buy the invisible sheild.
Anyway folks, keep the posts going but im off to bed again, its 20-4 in the morning here and my insomnia is booring me lol
