Just got my M600i but I have run into a problem. I have set birthday in an address book entry by mistake. There doesn't seem to be any way to remove it!!. I have deleted the matching entry in the calander, but it still shows in the address bok entry. Am I missing something? Can't find any info anywhere on how to remove the entry other than deleting it and re-keying the it as a new one!

hmmm.. I've just been doing some hunting around and trying different things but I also dont find a way to clear the date on the M600 itself.

if you are synching from outlook then its not an issue of course

Hi. Just double checked, and even though I removed the birthday attachment which appears in the Outlook contact, after syncing the birthday is still there on the phone address book contact! It really is stuck there

@googol

last resort is to back-up everything except PIM data, Master Reset (PIN: 0000) and then restore and then re-sync.

if, when you say "birthday attachment", you're talking about the little calendar thing that sometimes appears in the notes area of the contact, then its not that, that gets synched.

you need to amend the actual birthday field which can be found in the "all fields" tab and select "personal fields" from the drop down.

I just tested it again and it removed a birthday for me on the M600 when I synched, then I put it back there and it added it back on the M600 when I synched again

Thanks Masseur. Set the birthday to None in Outlook and re-synced. Birthday has now gone from the phone That seems to be a good workaround, but still an oversight by SE.
