Hello Esato folks (First post for me)

Just seen this, thought I would share - would be very cool as a feature. Could run all sorts of client-side local-host productivity apps with it.

[I am another sad bugger waiting for the P990i to be released in Australia]

ooh apache sweet
but I think you'd need wifi to host with decent speeds as 3g is barely enough, it'll be the new bluetooth trend

Thanks darky.

My excitement of a Apache port on the P990 is that you could run many apps on your fone as localhost. It would be like having your own programming language right in your hand-held. Imagine if php gets ported - could be quite a mind shift.

Apps like a personal GTD tracking system, or a database wiki, all on your fone.

Serving up pages to others would come as a minor second benefit.

I hope they make it easy to program a pyhon script page that pulls the camera and serves the picture or video through the apache web server.

Imagine a remote controlled p990 webcam with live video-streaming.
