So these crystal cases seem to be the latest things for phones. I had one on my P910i a while back, but sold the phone soon after and never got to know it that well.

I would like to know what peoples opinions are on them. Are they any good? Protect the phone? Drop resistant? Obscure anything? Damage the phone in anyway? (ie when it attaches)

Thanks

i've got one for my k750(pivot).the fit is very good, all buttons, ports and camera are unobscured.it wouldnt be too drop resistant but does protect from scratches very well.unlike the silicone cases it doesnt discolour over time.

crystal case are great to protect your phone hence they sometimes are shiny as the name was crystal but just becarefull when using it, never smack(i mean put your phone down ) on a table roughly and if you do so, it will leave a cracked mark on the cases and thats not pretty anymore but all are depends on your cases material.. for my country.. they are cheap plastic bought it for 3 days and give up of using it
as i said, its all down to the material of the cases cheers~

I am seeing a lot of this thing at my end lately . . . and am not totally impressed about it I think it will just make the fone more - bulky, and as the way I see it, once dropped, the crystal case will break ! It just looks like you have an invisible case protector on your phone . . . just imagine seeing Wonder Woman riding her invisible jet

Well as QuickShare™ said it all depends on the quality of the case. If they feel cheap, the extra bulk isn't worth it. I've had one on for a while an it just kept on falling apart from small knocks, and I mean just a light drop on the table from only a few centimetres.

I am very satisfied with the crystal case that I use with my W800i. It does its job pretty well: it protects the handset very efficiently and doesn't really make the phone that much bulky.
However, in case of dropping the phone I imagine that the case would open and phone could somehow be damaged.
So I think crystal cases are very good at protecting the phone from little scratches in the everyday use but not so good in case of dropping it.

Got one for my K750i and it does protect my phone very well from scratches. I do have to remove the case now and again to clean dust from underneath it though.
