Another sad day for humanity. More than 174 precious lives lost. All 7 blasts inn crowed suburban trains. 7 blasts in space of 11 minutes! Lets hope the toll does not rise any further. This is the second biggest terrorist attack on this 18 million strong megacity. The previous big blasts were in march 1993.

It makes me shudder when i realise that i too travel on these very trains on these coaches daily.

Not much information about the perpetrators... Police suspect separatist militants. Life limping back to normalcy. Right now i am on my way to office.

Mrao has said in the india thread that one of his office colleagues has lost his brother.

. My friends dad has been wounded in the attacks. He was in the one of the 7 coaches in which the morons planted the explosives.
