> K800 keypad coating peels off

Unbelievable! My K800 is only 2 weeks old and the coating on my keypad (6, 9) is peeling off! Damn! I brought it to my local SE customer service center and they told me this is unnatural and not a product issue. I said well yeah keypad is not made to last forever but hey only 2 weeks and the coating peels off!
Am I the unlucky one on earth?

My K750 keypad is awesome..it has been 8 months and no peeling off has happened so far...I don't know about K800...

Maybe because its rubber instead of plastic, and thats bound to happen one day or another? And in your case, i'd say sooner rather than later.

my w810 is still fine although some have had probs with silver coasting on d-pad!
it also depends on your skin.... some people have a lot more toxin in there skin and it corrodes things quicker - no joke!

Just had a look at mine and I can see a slight shine to the edges of 1, 4, 7, *, 9, 0 and #
Only got it Monday night with not much use ove the past 2 days. Just in my trouser pocket.

Open a can of "whoop ass" on a service centre. Thats not acceptable. If the centre won't help, the shop will and MUST! Don't be bullied with this issue. Its two weeks old man, whether it's an unusual problem or not is non of your concern. Good luck!

??!! Just like their idea of integrating on w810s a bad quality lens glass that scratches as easily as wiping it with a clean cotton cloth. Even if it's for people who change their phones in less than a year, some durability comes in handy.
