> best place to get K800i on contract?

I've been away from the UK but am returning soon and need to get a new phone with contract.
Of the 4/5 major networks, who offers the best deal on a K800i? I'm looking for a plan with about 400+ anytime x-net minutes.
Any networks that provide the fone without branding? Unlocked?
Are there any online etailers that sell contracts/phones that people here can recommend as value for money and trustworthy?

I've never used any of the places that do rebates yet, do they make you jump through hoops and it difficult for you to claim the money?

I live in USA and i was originally from China. I have been living in the states ever since high school, and i started using cell phones here in USA. Nowadays, cell phone plans are around forty usd per month including several hundreds free minutes and unlimited weekend free minutes. They give you some not-too-bad but really out-of-date phones for free
I am wondering what is the situation in UK? Coz it looks like UK ppl can get all cool new phones like K800..........
Also, you guys have 3G.......

Most of my friends vary on how much they spend. Myself and one friend have/had contracts for £30 per month 200 mins x-net anytime and 500 text messages. Picture messages are also included within that limit, but are classed as 4 text messages.
Most contracts are 12 months, after which, you can negotiate new deals and claim an 'upgrade' to a different phone. After having a phone for 12 months, there is a lot more choice than 12 months prior.
Is it true that in the US the phones are not as 'advanced' or as nice as here in Europe/UK?

It is true. When i say phones, i meant those phones the operators provide (both free and buys). Also, advanced phones are for sale here anyway. If you log on SE or Nokia's usa site, you will be able to tell the difference
So 30 GBP for 1 month and only 200 mins free? Tha'ts not too impressive here , hehe

There may be a delay of a few weeks on some networks, while they go through their own testing processes (and customising processes).
The K800 for instance, was available throughout the UK and Europe in the last few weeks. And that's pretty much as early as you could get it anywhere (unless you work for SE!).
The US does seem very behind in mobile phones. The mobile operators seem to offer quite old phones, and a very limited selection.
Here in the UK, you can buy literally any phone you want, on any network, usually with a few weeks of general release.
And UK operators don't remove major features (such as Bluetooth) from the phones they provide, like they do in the US.

The rebate process is fairly straight forward, as long as you send a photocopy of your bill along with the coupon, you get a cheque within 21 days which isn't bad.
I haven't had any problems with them, and they certainly don't make you jump through hoops!
