Seeing as i was allredy angry that the music phones get massive memory and the cybershots get shit all....its stupid

its 60 meg internal. memory, each picture is about 500Kb, you do the math, you get plenty for the amount of photo's an average joe would have on their phone before transfering them to a pc.

we've had this before, its not SE its the operator you get the phone from, apparently unbranded sim free k800's come with an M2

They don't. It even states in the manual that you may need to buy one. SE left it up to the operator.

BTW, most cameras don't even come with a card bigger than 16MB!

exactly my point "you may" weve already had emails from SE customer services posted that a m2 card should be supplied.

the reason they arent is becuase they aren't purchased as part of the package from mobile networks so they can charge an arm and a leg for them seperatly. £99.99 for a 1 gig m2 at CPW (although they did offer me 25% off) sod that!

Fair point, but I seem to recall some guy on heer saying he'd picked one up SIM free, no operator branding and that didn't come with one either...

Maybe it's luck of the draw.

I paid £40 for a 1GB, not really a big deal is it, I can't understand what people are getting so worked up about!

I was at first becuase I thought I'd been ripped off. but I have an ipod for my music and a laptop which comes everywhere with me which has in built bluetooth, so all my pictures are on there anyway.

If you are desperate to get rid of some pictures for memory purposes..... blog them, and save the images when you get to a PC

I've got an unbranded Sim Free K800i and it didn't come with a M2 card, but im not really bothered.

I managed to pick up a 512mb for £20, and with the K800's internal memory that's more than enough for me.

The 512mb M2's showing 300+ pictures, and that should last me awhile.
