Do you connect your phone with other devices with bluetooth or infrared?
--- these settings might affect your battery life ---
Do you hide your phone or make it visible? (Visibility- On or Off?)
Do you use power save? (On or Off?)
I think it does affect your battery life. Because it is on (Bluetooth/Infrared). I use my Bluetooth with my headset (*Settings*- hide my phone and power save on). I think my battery last longer because I'm using a bluetooth headset and not using the phone's speaker.
Try using your phone with the Bluetooth/Infrared, Off. Does it make a difference?
Thanks, KLG2992- Kevin

Having Bluetooth switched on all the time on an SE makes very little difference. Infrared on the other hand will effect battery life quite conciderably.

Sorry to sound like a parrot but Scorchio is correct.
Keeping Bluetooth on does decrease battery life, but not enough that you would notice it unless you've got a Bluetooth connection open constantly (such as a BT GPS receiver, or a BT headset).
IR on the other hand drains battery life even if it is not being used. Just by being switched on it drains the battery quicker, and if being used such as when using the phone as an IR modem, the battery drains noticably quicker.
