Just thought I might post the good news for anyone wanting to get rid of the branding on their phone. Pretty sure it will unlock your phone too cos every time I have flashed davinci's firmware to my phone it unlocks it aswell.

Good news matey but updating the Fw won't unlock a phone, you must of had an unlocked phone from the start or unlocked it yourself with another credit.

Yeah actually I think that was it, I had the s700 before my k800 so I was able to unlock with normal usb cable. I think se-tool or hopefully TMS will support unlocking soon. Davinci will take a bit longer but at least these are signs that it is pretty close to being done. Se-tool support the W810 unlock so I think they will be the first. Just ordered a TMS cable because I dont think that new SE's support unlocking via normal usb.
