Is there a service menu, if so how to activate it and what options to modify?
Maybe disable the radio-cabled headset limit?

really, the only thing in there that you can change is the USB charging.
since the radio needs an aerial, you'll certainly not be able to remove that limitation

I've read that thread about how to build a fake plug to tirck the phone but it would be better just to let the user decide what to do.... it's up to user undertsnd if it's worth it to use the arieal or not....it may be that where radio signal strength is high the aerial would be useless......
Is there any chance SE will remove this limit?
Maybe a site were to post a wish list?

In the Service Menu is there a way of increasing the overall menu. This was possible on Sony MP3 Players, the MP3 player on my previous w550i and K800i are just not loud enough?!

As for the radio without an antenna, I had a prototype K750 that allowed you to open the radio without the headset connected (no need for even a dongle or anything). I could pick up BBC Radio 1, which is usually a very strong signal wherever you are in the UK, reasonably - but hardly reliably. Nothing else was found, although if you manually entered a frequency then you could sometimes tell there was something there.
In other words, it would be ridiculous for SE (or any other company putting a radio in a phone) to allow you to use the radio without an aerial. The experience would be terrible and it would reflect as a fault of the phone!
