I have this problem with one specific number on my k800i. When this person is calling me og texting me, the only thing showing up is the number. No name is comming up, neither is the picture attatched to the contact.
If I for instance change the phonenumber for this contact, everything is working fine. But when I change back that persons number, it turns back to the same problem.
Does anyone know how to fix this?
Thanks a lot

It could be that person has signed acontract with his operator no to show his number, like in the older models, phone would just show "unknown" instead of number or name.

No, it's not that. It's my wifes number, and I did not have that problem a few days ago on my k750i...

Delete contact. Switch fon off, take batt. out, wait 2min. put battery back in, reboot. Create new contact. Check again.

I think I have found the reason for the contact not showing up. I have deleted all of my contacts, deleted all calls etc. So if I go to send a sms message, I can now choose "Enter phone no." and "contacts look-up". So I choose "contacts look-up" and there I can find my wifes number as an nunsaved number. It can't be deleted.
I think everything will be ok if I get that number deleted. Anyone know how to do that?

I have exactly the same problem. I have just found a fix (of sorts). If I save the missing contact to my sim instead of the phone memory, it appears in the call list etc again.
Solved for now (until the next firmware cures it?)
