I'm having real difficulties attaching my k800 to my windows 2000 box at work.
I've downloaded the latest drivers from SE and installed them without any issue. However, when i attach the phone it picks up the modem feature straight away, then, when i switch to file transfer mode, it tells me that i have disconnected the modem without safely unplugging it. After which the drive letters for the phone and m2 card appear in my computer, but they are not accessible and if you try to access them it tells you that no disk is inserted. Also, you cannot safely unplug the phone as there is nothing to select in the safely remove hardware icon and therefore you have to power down the machine to remove it safely.
I've tried re-installing the drivers a couple of times, but had no luck at all.
Does anyone have any suggestions
Many thanks
Spud
PS couple of extra points of info - i have an administrator account on the windows 2000 box, i've not installed the pc suite as i don't want it clogging the machine up, the phone works fine on my windows xp box at home

I take it that this is just an issue that affects me then?

I have exactly the same problem when using the phone as a memory stick.
I also have problem with installing "PC Suite".
The installation stops and a dialog box with information about parameters to Windows Installer appears with an OK button.
I have been in Contact with support. They asked me to install a newer version of Windows Installer, but that did not work at all.
Does anyone now what to do?
