For some of my songs on my W800i, when I play them in the Walkman interface, the MP3 tags are half cut off. For example, with a song by Dido, in the album "No Angel", with title "Hunter", it shows up in the Now Playing screen as:
Di
No A
Hun
It's happening with the R1BC002 firmware, but it was happening on the firmware that it came with too. This problem seems to occur more often with the tracks that I've added recently, and it's very annoying.
I know it transfered correctly because I checked the file using my computer. It's weird, actually, because when navigating to it, I choose artist "Dido", album "No Angel", then I choose the song "Hun". When calling up Information on it, it shows the artist as being "Di".
However, I'm doing the transfer by copying it to the memory stick directly (not using Disc2Phone). I can't really use Disc2Phone as I use Linux.
Has anyone else had or heard of this problem or can suggest any solutions?

I had this problem as well. I found out that the w800i only supports id3 tags up to version 2.3. your cd ripper is probably using version 2.5 or something. I use a windows program called mp3tag pro but i don't know about linux.
