Not sure if it supports them but until someone confirms this are you able to format the memory card either in PC or phone?

Hi, I can confirm that the k800i supports 1gb m2 cards.
I can't give specific advice on a 3 branded phone as it may be different, although I doubt they'd lock something like that out.

I had the same thing. When I first put in the M2, the phone did not recognise it. What I did was press the M2 cover in and hold it, then go to File manager -> Memory stick Tab. All the folders appeared and I can also format it. When I let go the cover, the folders disappeared (No memory stick found). Looks like a Memory stick slot problem so I got an exchanged for a new phone.

It must be the memory card itself then.

omer how are you connecting the memory card to the pc? via the phone or a card reader? try using a card reader if you can to narrow down if its the card at fault or the phone

Had the same problem myself (the pictures I took was never stored in the memory card), until I just shut down the phone after inserting the memory card and restarted it... Voila!

From what I know, there shouldn't be any problem insertering and removing the memory card when the phone is on, so I guess this may only be necessary the first time the card is inserted (havn't tried removing it since I inserted it)?
