Hi!
I have one of those USB universal adapters that can be used to charge anything that can be charged with a USB cable (http://www.tumi.com/wallets_accessories/electronic_accessories/category_search/usb_cell_phone_pda_charger_kit/product_detail/index.cfm?modelid=64488). The output is a 5V DV - 500mA. When I plug in the W810 USB cable the phone asks for file transfer or phone mode (just like when I connect it to my laptop USB), but it is not charging. The phone is charged just fine using my laptop USB port.
Any ideas?

how many contacts does the cable have?
My SE USB cable has 4 pins and supports charging as well as file transfers etc.

it is the original SE with 4 pins. It can be used to charge from a computer usb port, but not using this charger.
Are there any usb cables with 2 pins like the SE charger?
