Having recently moved from Qtek 2020i (O2 XDAIIi) to a K750 with upgraded firmware to W800 I'm really missing my sat nav.
I've been having a look and there seem to be a few options about.
I don't currently have a BT GPS reciever so I can't try any out and I'm not sure I want to spend £40+ on a receiver if the sat nave software for the phone is crap.
Can anyone give me URL so some reviews or comparisons would be even better...or maybe post here?
Cheers
Wayne

Either wap to wap.wayfinder.com or go to their website (dont know were to download from there) and follow instructions for a free trial. There is a function in the sw called "play route", so you can see how it would look if it had GPS conected to it. I use it to my w810 and it is working great, provided that I use the right route view. I choose the one with a globe and arrow for saving data. Have a look, mate.
Cheers

The only problem I have with Wayfinder is the ongoing subscription charges.
£6.99 a month is quite a lot I think.
I would prefer to buy the product outright and then have no subscription but I don't suppose this is possible with most mobile based satnav solutions
Cheers anyway and I'll give it a go.
Note that when I tried the wap site it detected my phone as being incompatible with their products (which isn't true as on their website they list both the K750i and the W800i). I've gone to their webiste and am downloading the trial from there instead.
Cheers

Nav4all:
www.nav4all.com Same as wayfinder, but free until 15th of August. You pay only the GPRS traffic (it makes very low traffic).
GPSwatch:
www.i10n.com. 30 eur to buy premium version. You can upload your own maps, they will even give you a software to download maps from google, yahoo, more. Not possible to automatically plan routs on the phone.
ODGPS
www.biketransalp.de for tracking and tracing. Excelent if you are walking or biking, but not possible to view maps on it.
Hope you like some of the suggestions.

Were did you get that info? I heard it was a one time fee of £66 for lifetime. It does not have any subscription fees.

Can anyone tell me if WayFinder allows you to input a destination via the phone or does it all have to be done on a PC and then sync'd?
What use is this if I'm out somewhere and then want to input a destiniation but can't????
Cheers

No problem mate. You can do everything in the phone. There is a free trial on the site. Test yourself.
