according to the manual the W810 has an E when connected to Edge but the usual triangle for GPRS
I'm guessing you either have a branded W810 (where they might have changed that) or you are mistaking the E for a G?

another question: the shortcus on the pad disapperr usually after turning off the fone, do noticed the same in k750, w800 where afaik it was mangade with upgrade, but why is it so hard for se to learn from the past bugs and release a new model without that bug? they should take competent ppl....

the very same phone will show a G or an E depending on the network...if you are in an edge enabled network coverage the phone will show an E & if it is a basic gprs network coverage it will show a G.

Can someone confirm existance of G and E on their W810, I get E all the time and I don't think every cell station supports EDGE transfer, I get 12KB/s only on couple places otherwise it is 5.4KB/s in many other area which is clearly GPRS transfer but I get E symbol instead G
