Hi!
This thread is for all those K800i owners,to help each other about the issues or problems regarding this fantastic phone! =)
I just bought my K800 yesterday and im happy with it.I charged it last night for 2.5hrs(enough lang ba?wala kc nakalagay sa manual)The rest of the day,my phone was great until kanina,I was browsing some web then was reading about the pop up,yung nakikita mo ang picture if somebody sends you a text after doing that just few seconds my phone just went black(but it didnt went off)I was really scared.then after another few seconds its ok and I changed it back to the activity menu but then it became black again just after a few seconds(is this normal?)but now its ok again.I am just making sure ksi yung warranty ko hanggang bukas nalng.Please help me about this issue
Tsaka yung boses pala pag voice call,minsan mahina tapos bigla namn lalakas?(is this normal?o should I press something)
Lastly,I want to ask about the phone protection,alam nyo po ba yung password?ksi gusto ko sana palitan
and does phone protection means when I leave my phone it will be automatically locked then asked for a password when I open it.Im really sorry for the very long query.Thanks in advance for all your help

sounds like a defective phone. i would exchange t for another one.
volume keys are on the upper right hand side of the phone
standard SE security code is 0000

i know there are still alot of K800 to offer us, its just but a matter of time after SE will release a firmware update. Others complain about somethin... but why others arent complaining these same defects. But surely these will not stop me from buying it. Im just on a look out for solid evidences and workarounds to some minor bugs.
To make it sure... and fail safe.. I think im planning to buy a K800 on authorized SE shops... not in greenhills as to my first plan.
and so this is my query on the said unit:
since it has built-in XENON flash. just how much shots can you make on a FULL BATTERY? for all those point & shoot enthusiast

well i got a grey market unit almost 2 weeks ago and so far it is faultless. i know there are people experiencing bugs but i'm sure there are a lot more who are very happy with their K800's.
don't know how many flash pics the phone can take on a full charge but the battery life is so strong that i'm that will not be an issue at all.

I bought my unit about 2 weeks ago in greenhills and haven't a had a problem with it since. Nothing's wrong with the software as long as you get the latest firmware. I also bought my 1gb M2 card yesterday so I can finally store more pics and music.
But sadly, the front part of the case got badly scratched and I'll have to replace it. The official shop here said they can't replace it yet until the phone becomes officialy available here. The website says it's already here, but when's the official date?
