> Settings for 3 on M600i
Bookmark topic
Hello again, i got a good deal on 3 network with a k800i for my Partner, Shes Chuffed to bits with the phone btw!! I have (as some of you already know) an M600i with a Vodafone sim, I was thinking of swapping the Sim Cards over because i get a brilliant signal with the 3 sim in my house and at the office. But i got the Vodafone setup up real good for email and the internet and ready for when vodafone activates Vodafone live on the m600i phones in the UK. so my question is does anyone know all the settings to get a 3 simcard fully working for mms, 3g etc on the M600i or am i fighting a losing battle?Cheers in advance

If you call 3 support they can send the setting by sms. At least they did it for me in Sweden. For internet the only thing needed in Sweden is to set the APN to data.tre.se. Dont know what that would be in england...

I am using a retail M600 and a K800 on 3 in Sweden without problem. And they had no problems to send me an SMS with the settings for the M600. Sounds very strange that they would block all users that does not have a 3 branded mobile...

Just a quick update for all you UK users with a sim free m600i wanting to use a 3 sim card....you cant, i got all the settings off another site and can browse theprotal when there is no 3g signal, but when there is a 3g signal i get a message stating "you cant use this service on this handset, please use your sim in the 3 provided phone"......................What a bastard! Looks like illl have to keep both phones for now, really cheesed off with three but they have the best phone signal and tarrif in my area.
