I posted this in the p990 thread but it died among the 'WHERE THE HELL IS THE PHONE ALREADY'

so here it goes again
a question not sure if it was asked before but couldn't find it,
does the p990 support flash files ? (.swf)
I don't mean in general but if something was created specificially for it 'dimensions' will it work correctly without any third party software? including actionscript ?
with all it's glory as in fscommand, geturl ... etc ?
same question to m600 owners, do swf files work ?
and I don't mean flash lite
if anyone has info plz reply ^^

What they have in the p990 is something called "SVG Tiny 1.1" which is scalable vector graphics for animated wallpapers, menus and other graphic elements. I do beleive that you will be able to buy the flash player to your phone if you want it.

I hope someone can prove me wrong but I don't think it's even supporting flash lite...

there goes half the web
not to mention all the cool applications you can make in flash without needing to program in c++ and symbian/uiq3
I know flash will be excessive on the battery but the processor should be able to easily handle it if the animations are custom tailored 'limited' to the phone's processing power aka no timers, loops ..etc_________________

the p900 and p910 both support Flash Lite 1.1 so it should have this as a minumum,
the Motorola A920 supports Flash 5
so do both the Nokia 9200, and the Nokia 9500 Communicators
which fall in the same category as the p990 and were released a while ago
and the Nokia 7710 supports Flash 6
now I"m not asking for flash 8 but if it doesn't even support flash 5 then this is pathetic, the only reasons I'd really want to get it are the touchscreen and wifi, and currently the wifi is not looking so good I hope they get it right -_-
it should be in the Browser, Wallpaper, Standby as well and not just application dependant
