problem is the button to bring up the camera mode works but when you want to take pictures the button doesn't work, im guessing its a software problem.
any ideas or help?

Well, depends mate, theres no known issues with the firmware about the camera button, unless I'm mistaken...
In the last couple of months of my K750, my camera button stopped working, so very annoying that pictures were quite hit n miss! Unfortunatly theres no cure except to get it repaired!
