I have been with Vodacrap (through CPW) since 2000 (don't ask me why). My contract is due to end soon, so I called them up to see what they could offer me to stay on with them. I asked them to give me a K800 as an upgrade (for free), and I would then be prepared to sign another 12 month contract. I was transferred to their "Loyalty" dept. They offered me a "free" K800", but my line-rental would double! I didn't accept this. On my current plan, they would charge me £109 for the K800. I was about to go ahead, until I realised that it was a Voda branded unit. According to the Voda-rep., they no longer have unbranded units (unless you buy sim-free at FULL price). Well, that sealed it for me. On to another network.

I've been thinking O2. I've been offered a free K800 on £19 per month on O2.

Does anyone have any input as to which network they would recommend?

I basically want:

1) Unbranded (or virtually unbranded) unit.

2) Not interested in texts, just want decent call prices and good data packages.

Thanks in advance for any input

I've had Voda for 2 years so far I'm on the 5 or 6th contract.

Go instore to Voda rather than to a CPW, you get better deals.

I have a Voda branded K800i, nothing bad really, just a couple buttons changed and the voda sticker and voda lock. Harmless

Go for O2, the only branding you get is a wallpaper, and the playnow icon is changed, other than that its all standard. I got my k800 for £50, but got 500mins and 500txts for £25pm. Cheers This message was posted from a WAP device
