> k790 release date?

I was under the impression that the k790 would be out in early July. I only ask because I'm looking for the k800s to drop in price, or the k790, conversely. If SE releases the 790, it will undoubtedly drop the price of one or the other.
k800s are running best at $420 on ebay...waiting on 350 before purchase!

dont kno the release date...but its really annoying the fact that there is such a long gap between the release of two phones that are exactly the same..i thought and hoped dat k790 would b released mid-july.
and im get so jeleous of all the ppl dat already have thier k800..come on se hurry up

I thought the only difference between k790 and k800 was the fact that k800 is 3G.
Thus the K790 only being released in contries where 3G is not yet available.

I think the only reason to get the k790, If you don't utilize the video/3G capabilities, would be because of a substantial price difference. However, there is no indication of the price range as of yet. The k800 is running at about 420 USD unlocked on ebay.
I think two things could happen with the release of the k790:
1.) The k790s price will drop percipitously, making it a more cost-effective purchase for those that do not utilize 3G, while the k800 will stay about the same
2.) The two will both come down a bit in price to around the same level, because the k800 will only cater to those in the area who have the technology to use its extra features.
Just waiting for one or the other

I don't think K790 will be out til December, you just wait and see. My words will come true
As for the EDGE, K800 doesn't have it since it is 3G. If you use your cellphone to get online alot, EDGE helps a ton
Also, K790 will come out with a high price in USA. Unless you go to those asian cell phone places, you will get ripped off for sure. I am a chinese and i know chinese cell phone stores use their own commission to get you "FREE" phones so they can attract more customers.
Also, K800i on ebay are all unlocked while K790a will be sim locked with specific carrier/operator
