> Should the k800i come with a 3g sim card?
Bookmark topic
After recently buying a k800i i have been trying to get 3g working for some time now.
I now realise it is because i was given a gsm sim card with my phone.
What has everyone else been given?
Should the k800i come with a 3g sim card?
Thanks
Edit: I bought this phone at CarPhone Warehouse on o2.

I got a CPW on O2 instore and it came with a 3g capable card on a new contract. however that might not be the case with upgrades according to other members here

look at the simcard holder it came in, it will either say GSM or 3G in the corner, that will be your answer

The simcard ofcourse depends on your operator and contract! The type of simcard should be written quite clearly on your contract. Easiest way is to ask it before the deal is made.

It was a new contract, in store at the carphone warehouse on o2.
I have the o2 250 contract.
My sim card says GSM.
I phoned up carphone warehouse yesterday evening and they said all new phones on a new contract should definately come with a 3g sim card.
I will go in store today and see what i can do.

Got mine as an upgrade (done over the phone) and it came with a 3G card. 3G is only available in main cities on O2 now anyway. I dont get it at home only when I go back into London.
