my brothers w810 has recently died, sort of.
the other night, someone rang him he picked up and all was fine, he could hear the person etc. but when he hung up the screen was white......
though, all though it has a white screen the functions still work, i could still dial numbers and call people, hmmm....but its nnot as if he can do a lot with a blank screen lol...

he debranded it over a month ago and the phone has been running great, and i updated to the latest firmware for him bout 2weeks ago, again all was fine, until this.

any suggestions as to why this happen and how to fix it? or easier just to take to service centre?

ive tried re-flashing, but it hasnt fixed the problem...

i would take it to a service centre, but not sure if they can do much about it, if its been unbranded, since i think it can void the warranty if you have had it flashed or something, not sure, but worth i try though taking it to the service centre, to see what they say.

Well my brother had orignally got the w800 on contract, but had to take the same phone back 4 times coz it was stuffed, so they gave the w810i for free. So now he is p****d off, took it back to the store and told him he had to send it back to repair centre.

nothing else he can do?

well the store he got from sent the w800i to the service centre 4 times, and they said nothing was wrong with it, hmmm.....

i wonder what they'll say this time, even with a white screen....." Nothings wrong with it" lol
