Voice dialling should work with the BT headset but not using just the phone alone... This message was posted from a S700

voice calling is a feature on many phones nowerdays. Why i dont know as it never works. You record your voice saying the contace name. You say the name to the phone and it dosent do it. You end up getting Pi$$ed off with it. Isent it just quicker to click the buttons to call a contact?

The voice dialing on the Nokia N80 (hate to say it, HATE nokia) is AMAZING. you dont need to record anything at all, just say the name you want and a computer generated voice says it back (sounds like steven hawking lol) and your done, spot on. Use it on my friends phone to get pizza when im sloshed

@Marktang.

All I did was follow the instructions.

There is no special 'trick'. If the BT headset isn't recognising the Voice contact commands then there is obviously something wrong with the equipment.

Activate voice dialling
Edit the names
Edit the commands
Activate Voice Answer
Activate Play caller name
Activate and record you "Magic Word"

I done all the voice recordings using the Portable Handsfree, placed not to close to the mouth, about 12 inches away infact, in a place with no background noise.
