Hi i bougth my K800i about a week ago and now i've got two ugly scratches on the rigth side of the display.On the black list(dont remember the rigth word).Damn ugly scrathes,not so big seems to be dirt at the first glance.The color is silver and yes ugly.I have used the phone very carefully and caring about it.it has been lying in my pocket.and it scrathes.!?
Someone know how to remove och some way to style theese scrathes away?It is very disturbing and ugly.

I've ever repaired scratched plastic before, but I think that it can be solved by a nice paint job. The other alternative is to buy a new outer case for the K800, but I don't think that one for the K800 is availible yet. Otherwise could someone else give another suggestion?

Is there a way to remove or reduce them? Something cheap (like toothpaste) would be good, has anyone tried it? I know there are lots of polishers like Brasso, Displex and iCleaner but if toothpaste works well I would be really happy.
I've ordered a Martin Fields screen protector so I hope I can get the screen a little less scratched before applying the protector.
Please help!

Displex did't work well on new models i used it on my k750 the displey of k750 and k800 is cover with mirror like glass not like the older models . I read threads abaout wonderful DISPLEX and i only got more scratches. DISPLEX is some kind of acid and burn my keypad . Try to buy new cover! This is the only solution don't waste your money with paste.

i was the one that posted the reply with toothpaste , a guy on a market told me that to remove scratches from cds , dvds and displays .
i never used it on displays but on cds and ps2 dvds it works like a charm ( you have to use a regular toothpaste (plain white stuff) )
another option was the use silver or copperpaste , again worked good with cds and dvds , but never tried it on a display
