Hi there,

I have had this problem on my new k800i. When I am recording video, there appears an unusual green line on one side of the screen. The green line fades slightly into other colours and back to green again, but stays there through the duration while video is being recorded. Highly unusual.

I replaced the handset once already but the new handset has also got the same problem. I got mine from www.theorder.co.uk

Does anyone else have noticed this?

Its unusual two new handsets will have this same problem?

Help appreciated.

PS> I tried a full reset, but to no avail.

But what is the solution to this if all the handsets have got the same problem?

The solution is to just live with it for now, theres nothing you can do becuase theres no firmware revisions for the k800 yet.

Its not too much of a problem, becuase its only there when recording, not during playback.

Now I've seen alot about this green line, but no one has mentioned it changing purple sometimes. I'm I the only one who has a purple/green line? I was thinking the other day when videoing something that it was to do with the white balance as the green was in lighter part and the purple in the darker area's

@Aldrew

I've also experienced the purple/green line and can replecate it. Get a piece of white paper and hold it against something of darker colour and video the edge where the two colours meet, i get the purple on the white paper and green on the contrasting colour.

Strange!
