Well I didn’t think I would ever post, or even start a thread like this but I have to, to expose someone on here who no where near described a mobile phone accurately and still owes me ₤70 from a shoddy deal.
I traded a white PSP, with three games, and all accessories in MINT condition for a W800i and ₤50. The reason for this sale is I felt the PSP was a little boring and was loosing value so I thought with a trade for a W800i I could make ₤100 off of that plus ₤50, which isn’t quite what id get for the PSP so I thought I would go for it.
The item described to me was an unlocked, unbranded W800i, with the only fault describes as ‘the camera slider is bust’. That’s not too bad just a local market job to be fixed.
I met up with this guy and traded with him personally as we live in the same city and saved on postage. I had a quick look at the phone but he had to be at work so we traded and all went well. When I got home I saw the horror of the damage to the phone. It was chipped and scratched, was not unlocked to all networks and was Orange branded, had the charger missing and also had ear plugs missing so I couldn’t even use the head phones.
I immediately asked for the PSP back but he said he would compensate me and we agreed on ₤70 instead of ₤50. This would cover the cost of a new case, unlocking of the phone and new ear plugs. I have done all of this but am still waiting on the 70 owed to me and all personal messages falls on deaf ears. He said he paid the money into my account after I gave him my bank details and still it has not arrived into my account. For some reason he says a bank transfer takes 5 working days and that’s the last I have heard from him. He is a well established member who has previous positive feedback and has over 200 posts on here. I would like him to come forward and pay me the money he owes me before I expose him or worse go to the police.
I apologize now to the moderators who have to see this being posted.

Am also very sorry in hearing this and hope you get it resolved, thankfully not been scammed yet on here "touch wood".
Why not ask to meet up again and get the money? Or take a visit to his house?
I am intrigued to know who it is tbh

as i feel all scammers should be revealed in the open for everyone to know of and be aware of there dishonest nature?

maybe if he is on the respected traders list you could pm someone he has traided with to get details as if it is an honest problem on his part like the pc is down or something it doesnt help to put his/jher name all over this post. the last one that this was done with looked to be getting a bit messy to me...
