Hey guys, I have a SE K300i and I am wanting to put some MP3s on my phone and use them as ringtones. I am able to put the MP3s on my phone put whenever I go to the song then click "more" then click "use" so i can then choose "as ringtone" but it is not highlighted and whenever i click it it says "cannot use this file" can anyone help me with this problem? I am able to convert the songs into AMR but the quality is no where near as good as it is in MP3 format... Any help would be grealy appreciated.. Thanks guys

do you have a vodafone branded phone?if so then you will be unable to use your own mp3s as ringtones as voda want you to buy protected files from their voda live portal!you need sony ericsson digital rights manager(drm)software to convert any of your own tones to be playable.

Yes I do have a voda branded phone, Is there any way I can debrand it for free? I have a USB data cable is there a way to use that to debrand my phone or do you have to get a different cable and buy credits to debrand them? Thanks for your help!
