> P990 and M600 blackberry support

Spoke to SE today about blackberry support for the m600 and they said that you need to get it off your network. I then inquired about the p990 and its support for blackberry, he said that the p990 is tottally different to the m600 in the the blackberry support is written in the OS.
have any of you heard about this, if so could that be true?
