well if its on the computer, you wanna open the SE theme creator and click "preview" , and if your on about the phone once you send the theme to the phone it'll either say new theme released or some cobblers, then "use now ?", or file stored in themes, which you will have to find it and then set it...

I dont think there are many ways to preview a theme for SE... someone please correct me if im wrong
