Between this 2 fones : Nokia 6682 and SE w810i . Wich is better ( i want clear music , good display , no cracky keypads , good reception calls and viceversa and more )
I wanned w810i but people complain to poor music quality , and today someone said about a poor display , and other thing i don't like is the firmware story.
Pls note that i'll buy a branded FONE in Rogers .
Soo , in this case , i could not update my firmware , it will remain at first firmware ...
Do you think Nokia 6682 is a good alternative ?

Well the 6282 has 3G and a large QVGA screen. The W810 is better at music, camera and just the fact that it's an SE. The joypad problem should solve itself though and the 6282 is a bit bland otherwise.

there'll be no choice to made when you stop by at this forum.. we'll persuade you, until you satisfide and go for the W810i.. bugs? firmware can settle those thing.. crappy screen? i dont think so.. thats the most brilliant 176x220 screen i've ever encounter.. what else? W810i for sure

urrrgg, even tho im a SE fan i strongly advise you not to get the w810i for listening to MUSIC. By all means buy it only if your not going to use its music fuction.
if i was you i buy a w800i and update it than use mods to fix the Hissing. No fix is available for the w810i for music hissing and there won't be any fixes in the near future.. >
And to note. the hissing will drive you mad and you WILL notice the hissing. i felt like bombing SE when they told me they will not fix the hissing and claimed they had quality music.

Id go for the W810i personally, ive had mine for about 3 months and i love it to bits. Nokia phones are nice but not as nice as the SE ones, the display on w810i is terrific, very vibrant.
As for music??, well my w810i has replaced my ipod video really. Hissing??, never had any hissing on my phone so god knows what the hell you lot are on about to be honest. Only gripe i have with the phone is the volume is too low but easily rectified by running your tunes through a program called mp3gain...allows you to set the gain on your tunes ie make them louder or lower.
W810i if you want a decent nice phone, wont go far wrong.
