Hi im using the SEUS service for updating my firmware. the SEUS said my phone has the latest firmware, but i asked it to go ahead with the software upgrade. Its taking so long its been almost an hour since the download from internet got over and I assume the software is moving to the phone now. Does it take so long for the process? Somebody please help me if im wrong somewhere... My phone is a week old.. and if some prolem occurred in the software upgrade will it be covered underwarranty or will i hav to shell out some money for it? Please help me out.

can you tell me if the time taken is normal..? its still flashing actually.. it actually says please wait... downloading phone software.. but it shows no internet activity... does it take a long time for the flashing..? can yo tell me approximately how much time it takes?

During downloading software,it's safe to unplug the cable,but NOT during updating phone. Mine took at max.60 mins in low bandwidth and 15 mins in high. You'd better unplug it now..it seems SEUS is down. Anyway, why updating if yours is already the latest? yes, stop it now before a disaster happens..

I updated my firmware using update service on the phone via gprs. It took 6 mins to download the software and then about 45 mins to install it. Its much simpler than using seus
