> Ebay account problem

I tryed to sign in to my ebay account this morning and it said that my password was wrong, so i looked my emails and i had got an email from ebay stating my password and secret question had been changed and to go to ebay and click on "forgot my password" and to get ebay to send me my new password via email. I done this but no email has come through yet! what is wrong, has someone hacked my account?

Fake email probably. Ebay wouldn't change your details on their own.
When you clicked a link on that email you probably got redirected to a fake ebay page where you gave your details to someone else.
Too bad.
NEVER CLICK ON A LINK IN ANY EMAIL REQUESTING YOUR DETAILS!!!

i dont think he did click it, I think someone hacked his ebay and then he got a legit email from ebay.
best thing to do is contact ebay asap with this

there was no link in the email, i sent an email to ebay, so i am waiting on their reply, i suppose my best option is to close my account, but i need to sign in to do this, and i cant get signed in!

There is a link you can use to report your own account as stolen, it's in the security centre I think. I'll find it for you later as I'm at work at the mo and their system won't let me onto Ebay!

At least give us a few lines about what happened so if anyone get's caught in the same situation knows what's happening.
