Hey guys, im not a real techie person, and am nw to the forums here, but can someone please help me?

I have a k750i flashed with what I think is the w800i pre-release firmware (i checked it a while ago), and it was working fine for almost a year. Suddenly, yesterday, it just died. It was working fine, i was walking to my lecture and checked the time using my phone, and it was working, and about ten minutes into my lecture, i wanted to check the time agian, and it had turned off. I tried turining it back on, but it wont, it was still dead. I thought it may have been a battery problem so i waited till i got home.

Now as soon as I plug in the charger, all that happens is the red light at the top of the phone is on constantly, nothing else, it doesnt respond to me pushing the power button at all. It does th same thing when I take the battery out and just plug it in

Im getting quite worried, since it was quite a big investment, and I cant really afford to buy a new phone, if someone can help me and tell me what is wrong that would be great!

Thanks!

doesn't sound good. Could be the battery if you are lucky - try keeping on charge for a day. If that doesn't help see if you can try another battery to test it out. Otherwise it's not looking good

hey guys

thaks for the reply
but was wonderingcould it be a battery problem even if it doesnt turn on when the power is plugged in with the battery not in the phone?

Like, can the phone function without the battery if it is plugged into a power outlet?

Thanks

I dont think so, my W800 shows a white screen if i connect it to the AC without the battery.
