> Hiding incoming sms

When an incoming SMS arrives it shows the "new events" tab and the author and beginning of the message. Is there a way to hide these things and just tell me I have a new message? It's not that I have something to hide, but I find it rather annoying that other people could possibly read what I receive and from whom. Thanks!

hit menu>settings>under General, Select New Events>there're two choices where on top was "Activity Menu" & below was "Pop-Up" .. select the Pop-up.. and its settled

Trimakasi! Now it shows a picture and the name of the sender. That's not very practical when you're messing around with a lot of girls...
Do you know a way to hide that as well?

it shows picture? turn off the contact picture will do.. and about the name.. just set the name to other than a name like
? for girl A..
! for girl B .. thats easy right ?
