> K800i memory stick mirco problems

hi all. I've got a k800i and got a 1GB memory stick mirco for it but i can't access the memory stick through the USB cable i can view the phone memory and add pic's and MP3's but not the memory stick micro. Anyone got any ideas???

have you tried the different modes, file transfer and phone mode?
have you formated the memory stick?
have you gone in to manage drives when you right click on my computer and found it there.??

yeah tried the transfer mode and phone mode on the phone, have fomatted the memory stick. when i connect to my computer i can see the phone memory but not the memory stick. The phone knows these a memory card in the phone.

Not put a card in mine yet so don't know for sure but on the K750 the memory card showed up as removeable drive in My Computer on the desktop, connect it up an see if you have a new drive letter in there.

Here is a guess.
what it'll be probably is your computer is trying to give it a drive name that is already in use,. such as E: drive....
solve this by..
1. Right click on my computer
2. select manage
3. go down to disk management
4. locate your memory stick drive,
5. right click and asign a different letter,
(6. format if need be, like when you get a new hard drive)
this might be the problem, plus doesn't hurt to look.
let me know if i'm right or wrong?

try using another USB port... with the current one.. uninstall that...
choose another USB port and install the drivers there...

right click my computer, clcik properties, go to hardware tab and click on device manager, you will beable to locate and uninstall any drivers from there
