This is a weird kinda question...
I was looking at the sim slot on my k750 and wondering what the little patch of 5 contacts is for. Its just below the main sim contacts and indented from the plastic.
Any idea of there purpose guys?
Thanks in advance.

i always wondered what that was as well. I'm guessing it's for a different type of data cable or soemthing.

My guess would be that these connectors are used by the factory to install firmware etc. via a special cable. The reason I reached this conclusion is that the connectors on my phone have a tiny microscopic dent in them which means that they have been used before, however I bought my phone brand new and it has never been to the service center which means that it must have been used in the factory.
I should be working for the FBI or something

lol

I noticed the same, came to a similar conclusion, but before anyone from the fbi hires you, can you explain how :se: powers the phone while they put the firmware on, and secondly, why wouldnt they just have the firmware pre-written to the chips? :P
